Sycamore Jewellery Armoire

I was commisioned to make a jewellery armoire in memory of my customer’s Grandmother. This chest on a stand is made from English Sycamore and was a joy to make. There are over 80 individually hand cut dovetail joints that are included in the piece. They are showcased on the exterior and within all the 4 piston fit drawers that provide the storage for the jewellery. The drawers are situated behind 2 doors that each have hand crafted Sycamore hooks fitted on the inside of them to provide hanging space for necklaces and bracelets.
