A standout piece that demands your attention. Hand crafted from sustainable British Oak this piece was made in close collaboration with my client. The unique black finish on this piece was achieved by ebonising the Oak using a solution of tea, white vinegar and wire wool and then applying an intense black stain over the top, finished off with a durable Rubio oil. This sculptural dresser consists of an overhanging top section which includes a Walnut shelved storage space behind 2 flush soft close doors. The bottom section grounds the piece with 4 spacious soft close drawers each featuring hand carved fluted drawer fronts with ergonomic finger pulls on the sides. Hand carved removable Walnut dividers slide into position to divide up the interiors of the drawers to help with organisation within them.
