My Workshop
Located in Wensleydale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park overlooking the western slopes of Penhill, my traditional workshop provides the idyllic space for me to design and make fine furniture. Hugely influenced by the landscape and landmarks surrounding my home, iconic features of the Dales are often integrated in to my pieces.
Traditional methods are at the heart of my craft but my take on contemporary design creates a lovely blend of the old and new. Hand tools are at the core of my making process, often heirlooms, these tools are a joy to use, and provide a unique quality of finish that cannot be achieved by modern machinery today.
I thoroughly enjoy working with the clients to create a very beautiful standalone piece which can be cherished for many lifetimes.
